FilmCatch Privacy Policy

FilmCatch is a location-based game for discovering and collecting movies, operated by Myers Entertainment LLC (Florida, USA). This policy explains what we collect and your choices.

What we collect

Account email; your device location while using the app (to place nearby films and let you catch them — used in real time, never sold); your game data (collection, currencies, level, streaks, achievements, listings, trades, messages); an optional display name, bio and photos; and a push token if you enable notifications.

How we use it

To run the game — show nearby films, sync and display your collection, power trading and the leaderboard — and to send notifications you opt into. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking.

Sharing

Your display name is visible to other players on the leaderboard and in trades. Your email and exact location are never shown to other players. We use Supabase (authentication, database, storage), Expo (push notification delivery), and TMDB (movie data). We never sell your personal information.

Retention & deletion

Your data is kept while your account is active. You can permanently delete your account and all its data anytime in the app: Settings → Data → Delete account. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

Children

FilmCatch is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information.
